Railway announces new timings
Mangalore: The new timings of Railways have been announced by the Railway department. The Yashvanthpura-Mangalore weekly express will run through Kerala from July 1.
The new train starts from Palakkad, goes through Shoranur, Tirur, Koikkode, Vadakara, Talasheri, Kannur and will reach to Mangalore.
The train will leave Yashvanthpura at 11:45 and reach next day at 5.40pm to Mangalore Central. The same will leave from Mangalore Central at 8 pm and will reach Yashavanthpura at 12.30 pm on next day.
The Lokamanya Tilak Coachveli Superfast Express, twice a week, will run through Shornur, Tirur, Koikkode, Talasheri, Kannur, Kasargod and will reach Mangalore Junction.
The Lokamanya Tilak leaves at 4.55pm from Mumbai on every Tuesday and Saturday and will reach at 8.30pm to Kochuveli on Wednesday and Sunday respectively.
The Tilak express will leave Kochuveli at 12.35 am on Thursdays and Mondays and will reach at 4.10pm on Fridays and Tuesdays.
The Madgaon-Mangalore Superfast Intercity express will leave at 4.15 pm everyday from Madgaon and will reach at 10 pm to Mangalore Central. At 8.15pm it will start from Mangalore and reach Madgaon at 2pm, but the resuming date of this train is not announced.
